In  2013, the Cancer Center at CHOP launched a webinar series called First Steps Toward Healing. This series presents topics such as post-traumatic stress disorder, coping, siblings, community resources, medical late effects and more.

In  2013, the Cancer Center at CHOP launched a webinar series called First Steps Toward Healing. This series presents topics such as post-traumatic stress disorder, coping, siblings, community resources, medical late effects and more. Register for the fourth live streaming webinar in the series, held on Wednesday, December 11th (7-8pm) with pediatric psychologist Meghan Marsac. Dr. Marsac will discuss the ongoing, day-to-day challenges of childhood cancer and its treatment, as well as strategies for dealing with those challenges. She will share tips from families facing pediatric cancer and oncology experts as well as discuss relevant research. The presentation will review coping resources available for families, including the Cellie Cancer Coping Kit.
