Looking for more opportunities to learn about pediatric medical traumatic stress?

Kennedy Krieger Institute will present a one day workshop focused on medical trauma on November 9, 2012. Presenters Robert Basler, LCSW-C, and Nancy Kassam-Adams, PhD, will review core concepts of traumatic stress reactions. Special emphasis will be placed on normal and traumatic stress reactions within pediatric injury and illness as well as the impact development age can have on the traumatic stress reactions of patients.

This training qualifies for 5.25 continuing education units. Participants must attend the full day to receive CEU credit. The Family Center at Kennedy Krieger Institute is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor Category I continuing education units and the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Psychologists to sponsor Category A continuing professional education credits.
