About this Course
For mental health professionals treating children and families facing pediatric illness or injury, it can be helpful to become more familiar with medical traumatic stress as it has some distinct characteristics that may have implications for psychosocial intervention. For mental health professionals embedded in the healthcare system, it can be helpful to consider the role of trauma for families experiencing medical events. This webinar will provide an introduction for working with this population, including insights on when to seek additional consultation and how to collaborate with healthcare providers.
Accreditation
