Recognizing that all healthcare and mental health professionals may be affected by the trauma and stressors affecting the children and families in their care, this webinar will discuss trauma-informed care through the lens of the provider experience and secondary traumatic stress. The webinar will provide specific tools to learn quick, practical coping strategies, as well as discuss organizational responses.
Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs. CHOP designates this activity for continuing education credit(s).
